About the Senior HR Manager Role: Reporting to the COO, the Senior HR Manager plays a pivotal role in the organisation, developing and implementing strategic HR initiatives and policies that align with the company\'s goals and objectives.. This is a key leadership position based in the east of Singapore within a thriving freight industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives and policies to support the company\'s goals and objectives
  • Oversee the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and talent development
  • Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, providing guidance and support to drive HR excellence
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs and develop effective workforce planning strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and foster a positive work culture that promotes employee satisfaction and productivity
  • Manage employee performance and conduct investigations when necessary
  • Drive diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement learning and development programmes

Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or in a similar senior HR role, preferably within the logistics or freight industry
  • Strong knowledge of local labour laws and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing HR strategies and policies
  • Solid understanding of HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and talent development
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence at all levels of the organisation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound decisions
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality when handling sensitive employee information
