Job Description
Draft and review legal agreements including sales and purchase, restructuring, joint venture, investments, subscriptions and loans, M&A, financial facility agreements
- Review and handle S&P matters on acquisition of shares ships and related agreements
- Manage and liaise with external lawyers on all legal matters
- Handle charterparty disputes, cargo claims with customers and owners
- Provide legal advice to hubs on all issues and claims The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Law (LL.B) from a recognised university and admitted to the Singapore Bar
- Minimum 2 years of PQE for Senior Associate position and minimum 6 years of PQE for Assistant Legal Manager position
- Experience in maritime/shipping law and familiar with carriage of goods by sea, dispute resolution, commercial litigation and marine insurance
- Prior experience in insurance matters is an advantage
- Strong communication skills and able to work as a team player and independently
