Senior Legal Counsel ($8000 $15,000/aws/vb)

Job Description
$15K + AWS + VB + allowance
5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hours
Location: North
Responsibilities
- Support product and commercial organizations on emerging technologies (e.g. AI, Blockchain, Biometrics), advising on legal risks and supporting the preparation of appropriate template documentation for such technologies. \xe2\x80\x8b
- Mentor junior lawyers as needed. Sharing legal knowledge and experience to the wider IT legal team.
- Act as strategic negotiator for complex AIT transactions in APAC and globally.
- Understand commercial businesses and structure to identify cross-business issues, and work collaboratively in a team to develop solutions/recommendations.
- Partner with other lawyers in the legal department regarding transactional matters, regulatory compliance, and business governance matters.
- Manage and support legal department projects related to business realignment and risk controls.
- In conjunction with the business unit, gather and analyze relevant information to develop action plans.
- Apply knowledge, past practices and experiences to complex problems that impact the business unit.
- Degree in Law (e.g. JD, LLB, LLM) / Legal Qualification or relevant fields.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in: solid experience in Tech/IT/SaaS/outsourcing agreements, as well as knowledge of data privacy issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
