A renowned electronics company is recruiting for a Senior Logistic Manager job to assist companies in planning and managing logistics, transportation, and customer services, directing, optimising, and coordinating the full order cycle, and liaising land negotiating with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers, and consumers. About the Senior Logistic Manager Role:
In this position, you will be responsible for organising and monitoring the distribution of goods. The goal is to manage the entire order cycle to enhance business development and ensure sustainability and customer satisfaction. Identify the most cost-efficient and effective freight and logistics service that leverages our volume, demand planning, mill relationships, and market insights. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all strategic supplier relationships including negotiations with carriers to obtain optimum rates and service
• Utilise knowledge in freight classification, routing, ports, rates, and claims management to deliver solutions to the business
• Lead the development of freight management processes including supplier selection, qualification and evaluation, statement of works, RFPs, contract negotiation, and management and performance review
• Develop models to evaluate supplier costing scenarios and options
• Oversee the execution of associated shipping documentation
• Drive continual cost reduction and avoidance initiatives
• Lead the effort in supply chain to attain star level qualification in both process compliance and refinement and KPI improvement
• Challenge existing logistic solutions to find the best options that will bring higher value for our customers and for our company
• Drive Kaizen projects on Freight Saving opportunities. including but not limited to transportation mode optimisation, vendor freight control

To succeed in this Senior Logistic Manager role, you will need to have strong interpersonal communication skills. Along with a high level of management skills. Committed to achieving efficient and skilled negotiator with the ability to think strategically and develop long-term road maps in support of business requirements and changing environments. Key Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in logistic or relevant discipline
• Minimum of 10 years of working experience in logistics within the mining industry
• Proactive and independent in making decisions
• Good coordination and timely reporting skills
• Project leader skills and natural ability to influence people, effective communication and partnership within and outside of Operations
• Solid experience driving cost reduction, processing re-engineering, and data analytics strategies and implementation a must
• Experience with SAP highly desirable
