Job Scope

• Arrange and coordinate shipments by sea, air or land
• Apply the necessary customs permits
• Liaise with contractors on timely collection and delivery of cargoes in Singapore
• Liaise with respective overseas offices and agents
• Acknowledge incoming invoices and raise invoices to customers for payment
• Update and operate the Operations System (BLU)
• Update the tracking and tracing tools when in place for respective project
• Prepare quotations to clients, other office or agents
• Ensure all clients requests are shared with the Operations Manager or Project Manager
• Request and negotiate ad-hoc quotations from approved carriers, supplier and sub-contractor to ensure quality service at the best possible rate
• Advise the Operations Manager / Project Manager / Director if additional training or staffing may require

Requirement

• GCE \xe2\x80\x9cO\xe2\x80\x9d Level and above
• 3 \xe2\x80\x93 5 years of working experience in freight forwarding industry
• Experience in sea, land and air mode of transportation & familiar with Singapore Customs Procedures will be advantage
