JOB DESCRIPTION

• Accept QHSE as a condition for employment
• Promote adoption of Vision Zero mindset to all employers and stakeholders
• Understand and Observe the Safety Regulations, HIRA - High Impact Risk Activities and KOM Life Saving Rules
• Understand the importance of Safety and consequences of violating it
• Understand that Safety is a pre-requisite of work
• Actively promote safe work behavior at the workplace through strengthening Workplace Health and integrating with workplace safety programme
• Observe and intervene unsafe acts and conditions at the workplace
• Conduct and review Risk Assessment pertinent to the specific work to be carried out
• Ensure that you have read the HSE Manual in particular the Environmental Management Plan under HSEP 4.4.03.
• Process daily inventory transactions.
• Monitor stock levels daily.
• Maintain proper housekeeping with due regard to health, safety and environment within the storage areas and premises under the charge and report / review where necessary.
• Ensure that all documents pertaining to store transactions (issue pass / material requisition, supplier delivery orders, weight chits, return notes etc) are filed in proper order.
• Conduct stock cycle counts.
• Process scrap tender exercises and co-ordinate with scrap buyers for prompt payments and schedule of collection.
• Manage shipments of materials and equipment from overseas vendors with appointed forwarders, covering ports clearance, import permits and transit storage.
• Travel overseas for work / assignment as and when necessary or requested by your immediate supervisor / the head of department
