The AP ES&H Manager is part of the AP Manufacturing and Life Cycly Services (LCS) leadership team, serving as the key point of contact between AP Manufacturing and LCS-FCTL sites.
Responsible for driving the EH&S culture and provide adequate ES&H support for all ES&H programs at Flow Controls Manufacturing & LCS-FCTL. The EH&S Manager would maintain supportive and collaborative relationship with AP Manufacturing & LCS leadership team to influence the design and rollout of key initiatives and drive site-level execution to achieve desired results.
Establishing and facilitating a stronger network with the sites and external bodies on all matters related to ES&H and providing effective communication channels to ensure legal and regulatory compliance.
Driving a sustainable and value-driven safety culture across the organization, and ensuring a proper cultural change program is being deployed.
Establish programs for Quality Management System and Improvement initiatives that align to Global ES&H initiatives in both Manufacturing & Service Center metrics.
Monitoring on health, safety and environmental performance, compliance and safety data, injury, hazards, near miss and other reported events, as well as introducing continuous improvements in detailing trends, system improvements and corrective measures.
Responsible for cascading policy deployment improvement target and ES&H policy to AP region and provide functional support to the AP Safety Council and ES&H Council in SMO-MTWN (Service Management Office - Marshalltown).
Plan, manage and lead the ES&H function in manufacturing and LCS-FCTL, provide strategic direction, leadership, and technical support to advance ES&H programs and provide oversight to ensure manufacturing and LCS follows all in-country, Global and/or Emerson Auto Solution ES&H related requirements.
Assist sites with the development, implementation and audit of an ES&H management system per manufacturing and LCS SMO requirements including, but not limited to:
Onsite risk assessment support of plant machinery, equipment, and working conditions to ensure conformance to appropriate safety and sanitary standards and regulations
Validation of corrective actions closure in ES&H Velocity System
Supporting ISO14001/ISO45001 management system to sites
Intervening and developing recovery plans when manufacturing and LCS compliance and management system performance is lagging
Nominate manufacturing and LCS contributors for AP ES&H awards
Interface with applicable regulatory agencies to assure compliance with their regulations
Setting realistic strategic and tactical ES&H objectives (KPI\'s) that will provide focus for the team\'s activities in deciding priorities
Carrying out investigations, depot inspections and compiling reports on injury and other reported events including near misses, compile factual to be reviewed by AP and Global leadership in courtesy of prevention along with improvement plans in alignment of corporate compliance policy
Developing health, safety and environmental resource capability consistent with future requirements which would include technology deployment and new solution
Incident Investigation with Fishbone and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) analysis

The area of coverage includes all countries within the Asia Pacific Region. (include Bangladesh and Sri Lanka, Pacific region)
Job Requirements
BS degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Health & Safety or related technical discipline with 8 or more years of experience or Masters in the same areas with 6 or more years of experience.
The incumbent must possess extensive prior experience in the above-mentioned job responsibilities.
Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO) in Singapore
Highly motivated individual with strategic leadership ability and strong interpersonal/communication skills with proven ability to influence senior management to achieve desired results.
Change enabler who anticipates potential issues and impact on the business, and proactively resolves issues with minimal supervision. Continuous improvement experience (ACE, Six Sigma, LEAN, etc) is strongly preferred.
Professional certification preferred
