Job Purpose

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy as a Senior Manager for the Institute for Governance & Leadership (IGL @LKYS). This position is a key role in shaping the success of the institute\'s mission and objectives.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Business Development: The Senior Manager will play a pivotal role in identifying and cultivating partnerships, sponsorships, and funding opportunities to support the growth and sustainability of IGL @LKYS. This includes engaging with government agencies, businesses, and philanthropic organisations.
2. Programme Management: You will oversee the planning, execution, and evaluation of training programmes and collaborative projects. This includes managing budgets, resources, and ensuring the successful delivery of programmes.
3. Content Curation: You will be responsible for curating and developing high-quality content for leadership training programmes and research initiatives. This includes staying updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure the relevance and impact of our offerings.
4. Outreach: The Senior Manager will lead outreach efforts to promote IGL @LKYS\'s programmes and initiatives within the public policy community, both locally and internationally. Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders will be a core aspect of this role.
5. Strategic Partnerships: Building and nurturing strategic partnerships with government agencies, international organisations, academic institutions, and industry leaders to enhance the institute\'s reach, credibility, and access to resources.
6. Evaluation and Impact Assessment: Developing methods to assess the impact and effectiveness of the institute\'s training programs and initiatives. Using data-driven insights to continuously improve offerings.
7. Marketing and Branding: Collaborating with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies that enhance the institute\'s brand visibility and attract participants and partners.
8. Reporting and Accountability: Providing regular reports to key stakeholders on the progress and outcomes of the institute\'s activities, ensuring transparency and accountability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor\'s degree in public policy, public administration, or a related field
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in business development, content management, outreach, and program management
  • A deep understanding of public policy and leadership development
  • Strong experience in developing and managing partnerships
  • Excellent project management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
