ABOUT THE ROLE


Nielsen Planning and Activation team help organizations, like Agencies, Publishers/Media Owners, Digital Platforms and Advertisers to evaluate and optimize the performance of their advertising campaigns across all marketing channels and platforms by identifying the right audience, exploring how it uses media, then making the best decision about where and when to engage it.

This role is focused on looking after the current planning business in the APAC region and developing new business.
As a Senior Manager you'll be in charge of account management helping to create, build, and maintain relationships with clients and also operate as a link between Production and Clients, covering all post-sales services in order to provide our Clients on-time data delivery, enhancing their satisfaction with the Nielsen core products.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Client Development: Management of client expectations across multiple accounts
  • Fostering strategic client relationships with the aim to address advanced/key business needs queries.
  • Maintain and grow business relationships with key clients.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. business development, product development) on cost and contract negotiations for business partners/clients.
  • Manage commercials and ensure the renewal of client subscriptions
  • Be able to demonstrate and train on software and understand / communicate the key data use cases & value propositions to clients Spearhead and coordinate product enhancement initiatives with internal stakeholders (data science, IT team, commercial, product leads, etc.)
  • New Business: Work close to Sales team to develop new business across the regionLeverage the knowledge of existing clients for upselling
  • Support new business development: pitch and close a pipeline of new opportunities to drive incremental growth beyond the current client portfolio

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS

  • Min of 5 years of overall experience in quantitative market research (Agency side preferred)
  • Proven track record of strong client service partnership skills and collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Working knowledge of research techniques and methodologies
  • Work autonomously to deliver result and maintain motivation Understanding and experience of agency planning & buying is essential
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including strong presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of solution & consultative selling
  • Self-starter & can-do attitude
