Job Description

What the role is:As the Project Lead for the Donor Management System (DMS), your role is crucial in driving innovation, streamlining operations, and cultivating key partnerships to drive the organisation\'s philanthropic objectives.Your primary focus lies in enhancing collaboration, implementing strategic initiatives, and optimising donor management systems and processes, aiming to maximise fundraising impact and foster organisational growth.What you will be working on:1. Product Strategy and Planning

• Active role in supporting the conceptualisation, development, and implementation of DMS features and functionalities in accordance with organisational objectives
• Utilise technical expertise and comprehensive product knowledge to address donor needs and requirements
• Support end-to-end product lifecycle, including customer needs evaluation, backlog prioritisation and stakeholders coordination
• Contribute insights to strategic planning discussions on how DMS enhancements can support long-term organisational goals
• Awareness within the fundraising ecosystem to facilitate ongoing improvement and enhance the DMS overall experience for donors

2. Innovative Solution Development

• Employ design thinking methodologies and creative problem-solving approaches to innovate solutions that enhance donor engagement and fundraising effectiveness
• Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement within the DMS framework
• Prototype and test new features with vendor support for smooth launches for both features and enhancements

3. Effective Project Management

• Champion collaboration with internal and external teams, to ensure seamless

integration and adoption of DMS enhancements

• Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, effectively

communicating project status, requirements and expectations4. Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance

• Actively participate in the ongoing development and documentation of workflows, SOPs, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing among the team
• Monitor project progress, SLAs and performance metrics to identify optimisation opportunities
• Take corrective measures to ensure timely project delivery and cost efficiency

• Proficiency in managing systems and projects, including end-to-end delivery experience from small to large scale
• Exposure to CRM or Knowledge Management systems
• Familiarity with project management methodologies, particularly agile

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in project management
• Demonstrated success in leading project teams and delivering projects on

time and within budgetPreferred Certification:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Agile certification (e.g.,Certified ScrumMaster)
