The primary objective of Sales Strategy & Operations manager is to drive strategic sales programs across 13 countries in the Asia Pacific region. You will maintain updated data records on the status of go-to-market across countries – relating to go-to-market headcount, sales pipeline and sales performance. You will engage our global Sales Strategy & Operations team to understand the new programs being launched – the why, the what and the how; and then break it down for the countries in Asia Pacific and help them to execute; and report back on progress of strategy execution to the team in Group. Apart from Group driven programs you will analyse performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and initiate regional strategic programs. You will also take the lead in supporting internal events such as sales kick-offs – help prepare content and presentations for such events. This role requires working closely with the go-to-market field force, their sales manager, and leaders to ensure adoption of NTT Ltd. global standards – use the right sales vocabulary, the prescribed methodologies and frameworks, and global toolsets to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.   • Analyse relevant data points needed for execution of strategic sales programs
  • Assess areas of weakness and the root causes for the issues
  • Think creatively to find ways for improving the sales outcomes via process, policy, IT levers
  • Envision the activities and tasks needed to manage a strategic program of work
  • Formulate a business case for strategic programs
  • Define a program charter and project plan with clear dates and ownership
  • Prepare content and presentations for meetings and events
  • Organize meetings and take notes of key actions and subsequent follow up
  • Track execution of strategic programs to completion to achieve desired outcomes
What knowledge, skills, and attributes needed?
  • Understanding of IT services industry, familiarity with the portfolio and business imperatives
  • Understand the terminology and context of sales and presales
    • Organisation & Roles – understanding of sales & presales roles
    • Sales Processes – sales pipeline management, deal room activities
    • Sales IT Systems, such as Salesforce.com, PowerBI, Workday or equivalent tools
    • Sales Policies – in particular, sales compensation plans
  • Experience of working with sales and presales people across Asia Pacific countries
  • Good collaboration skills and able to interact professionally with people in the global team
  • Analytical in approach with good attention to detail, and decision making based on facts
  • Ability to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal skills in English is mandatory
  • Verbal communication in another Asian language is an advantage
What academic qualifications and training?
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business management
  • Relevant training in data analysis & representation and project/program management
What is the required experience?
  • At least 2 years’, preferably 3 years, experience in
    • driving sales strategy & operations
    • analysing data on sales capacity, capability, and pipeline
