What the role is:Do you enjoy engaging with people and thrive in a fast-paced environment? In this role, you will join the Corporate Marketing & Communications Division and support the team in developing exciting public and employer engagement activities to educate, increase awareness and get buy-in for WSG\'s messages, initiatives and programmes from our stakeholders, and grow the WSG brand. We are looking for someone dynamic to be part of the team. The main area of your work will be to partner both external and internal stakeholders in the planning and execution of events and grow our outreach efforts. These include roadshows, conferences, seminars, corporate events, and visits by overseas partners.What you will be working on:- Plan, develop and implement stakeholder engagement plans, including large-scale B2B events - Explore new ideas to enhance the stakeholder engagement experience - Work with partners and vendors to successfully execute these engagement activities - Engage with our stakeholders to address queries and share information about WSG programmesWhat we are looking for:You should have: - Qualifications in communications, events or other relevant disciplines - Experience in events management and marketing - Experience in planning and execution of conferences is preferred - Candidates without the required qualifications but with relevant experience (2 - 5 years) are welcomed to apply - A keen understanding and familiarity of Singapore\'s employment landscape and how to engage Singaporeans effectively - A good grasp of event ideas and what makes an event interesting - Be familiar with the modalities and operations of stakeholder engagement activities - Excellent written communication and presentation skills - Good interpersonal skills - Strong project management skills to manage and execute projects - A good command of the Mother Tongue language is preferred The person we are looking for: - Thinks out of the box, is resourceful and is always keen to learn - Is meticulous, pays attention to details and has good clarity of thought - Is able to analyse information/data to support decision-making - Is able to work in teams, and also independently All applicants will be notified on whether they are shortlisted or not within 4 weeks of the closing date of this job posting.About Workforce Singapore:Workforce Singapore (WSG) is a statutory board under the Ministry of Manpower (MOM).
