Job Description


The Student Ambassador Senior Manager is responsible for directing student success efforts, ensuring seamless daily operations, assisting in the planning, implementation and evaluation of student support systems, and collaborating with faculty and staff to narrow the gap of attrition and improve overall student satisfaction and success.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily Operations: Manager, Student Ambassador will lead a team of Executives and be overall responsible for day-to-day operations of the section.
  • Staff Development: As part of staff development, to motivate staff such that they have a high level of professionalism.
  • Motivate staff: To motivate, inspire and challenge staff to exceed customer\'s expectations
  • Excellent Customer Service level. Overall to provide excellent level of customer service to students by working with both internal & external stakeholders.
  • External stakeholders. Work with agents, external parties and parents so as to mentor students and ensure that they have a seamless and enriching University life.
  • Internal stakeholders. Working with academic departments, finance, marketing and all internal stakeholders, assist and guide students through their studies in JCU Singapore. These include but not limited to advisory on matters pertaining to student pass, contracts, LOA, Withdrawal, Internship/employment placements, enrolment, general inquiries etc.
  • Create, develop, and maintain effective data management and reporting process of all support service with the department
  • Use data in order to make data-driven decisions and improve necessary processes
  • Meet with parents who choose to be more actively involved in their student\'s academic progress, while maintaining PDPA confidentiality.
  • Maintain accuracy of data entered on student management system.
  • Ensure that student contracts are signed in a timely manner
Criteria:
  • Degree holder, a Masters Degree will be advantageous
  • Strong in administration, meticulous, analytical and good organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience preferably within a tertiary educational institution and with familiarity in international programmes and/or academic administration.
  • Student centric, positive attitude, professional and a pleasant disposition.
  • Motivated, able to work independently and as a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communications (written and verbal) and service skills.

Monthly Remuneration: Up to SGD 6,400
