Objectives of the Position

To lead sustainability activities for the Region Asia Pacific (excl. China). Focal point for corporate sustainability and the voice of the region in global meetings. Lead, enable, and support the countries and Business Units\' communities in the region.

Guide and enable strategic customer initiatives by working collaboratively with the network leaders in the region, and develop opportunities to elevate customer experience beyond current roadmap.

Main Tasks:

Sustainability:

• Focal point for corporate sustainability topics, voice from and into the region, more specifically representing in global sustainability meetings with Corporate Development (CDS/S)
• Enable Country Development community: Create and foster synergies among countries. Lead country sustainability roadmaps development and implementation and the upskilling of the team in the countries
• Lead and Coordinate Sustainability community (business and country reps)
• Represent in the Regional Plastics Steering Committee (RPSC)
• Coordinate sustainability focus areas, project implementation and their leaders (e.g., Circular Feedstock, ASCOTT)

Strategic Customers and customer experience:

• Be the regional coordinator for Global Customer network
• Guide the Strategic customers leaders in the region to elevate the level of maturity with their customers
• Develop opportunities to elevate customer experience beyond current scope and in particular in the area of Innovation and commercial excellence
• Develop growth within the region (transplants opportunities)

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in chemistry or related subject, Business administration (e.g. MBA) is a plus
• Min. 8 year\'s work experience with solid track record and performance, preferably with experience in R&D and technology
• Experience in driving Sustainability concept
• Good knowledge of chemistry, value chain and sustainability concept.
• Demonstrated customer centricity
• Ideally with experience in a multicultural work environment and with diverse group of stakeholders
• Excellent prioritization, coordination, communication and interpersonal skills
