What the role is:You will be part of a purpose-driven and impactful Grants team to develop and deliver grant programmes with external partners. To this end, Tote Board is embarking on a transformation journey to support more informed decision-making by funders and to ensure good accountability and grant efficacy.With our focus on impact giving, Tote Board will play a strategic role in catalysing a more outcome-oriented and data-driven culture within the not-for-profit ecosystem.What you will be working on:ResponsibilitiesEstablish data streams with other agencies to facilitate data transfers;Develop data usage and governance guidelines for adoption;Design and build scalable automation to improve operational efficiency;Work with stakeholders to understand and sharpen their business use cases, in the domain of statistics and data analytics;Drive analytics projects with key partners that will support informed decision making; andSupport the upskilling of data competency of Grants officers.What we are looking for:RequirementsPreferably in a relevant field such as Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Information Systems;4-7 years of relevant working experience in a data/statistical role;Willing to pick up new digital tools;Able to multi-task and manage diverse stakeholders and complex issues;Able to work well both independently and as a member of a team;Strong quantitative and analytical skills (data visualisation and analytics proficiency a must, Tableau preferred).Note: This is a fixed term contract position.Join us and help us to achieve our compelling vision of a caring and resilient Singapore.The successful candidate will be appointed into a position commensurate with his/her work experience.We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.About Tote Board:Established in 1988, Tote Board (Singapore Totalisator Board) is a statutory board of the Ministry of Finance.
