Senior Process Engineer We are looking for a professional who will be responsible for undertaking Process Engineering related activities for Liquid Food Processing Equipment. You will lead technical decisions and design of technical solutions for projects from low to high complexity. It's expected that you'll be able to understand customer needs and requirements and translate into complete Tetra Pak engineering solution, focusing on build long term relationship between Tetra Pak and our customers. You, as the process responsible, shall ensure that all the technical design reviews are performed timely and with expected quality. You will collaborate with project manager supporting costs and schedule control for process engineering tasks and deliverables of the project. You may be asked to drive on-site activities, such as installation, commissioning and performance validation, leading teams on customer site (Tetra Pak engineers and/or external suppliers) and providing technical documentation accordingly. In this role you will be an individual contributor based in Sinapore and report to eam Lead Process & Project Engineering based in Vietnam. What you will do As our Senior Process Engineer, you will Undertake detailed design of Liquid Food Processing Plant/Equipment based on contract documentation Preparation of P&ID, Process Description, Process Functional Diagram and Engineering Documents such as equipment layout, pipe rack design, drain / utility point layout Engineering Calculations and Utility Consumption Calculations,Mass Balance,Energy Balance,Production Time Schedule,Floor Loading Diagram Specification of Equipment (tanks, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, modules, etc) Ensure Engineering Solution is within the Project Budget Utilisation of Tetra Pak's Software and Engineering Tools (Plant Model, Matrix) Lead and participate Technical Design Reviews, including Safety, Hygiene, Layout, and Process Solution Prepare and issue Item List and other Relevant Specifications complete with Material Cost during pre-sales or project phase Communicate with customer regarding design, plant layout, utilities, plant performance and other relevant technical issues Undertake Technical Discussions with external and internal suppliers Internal communication with 3D Drafting Team, Project Manager and Automation Team, and Supply Management Team Assist Project Manager with various Project related activities such as ordering, preparation of RFQs, and Inspection of Equipment Support site related activities such as Installation and Commissioning of Equipment when required Support Pre-Project team to prepare quotations when required We believe you have Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Engineering or relevant fields, Master's Degree or equivalent, an advantage. Minimum 8 years of previous experience in food and plant engineering delivering process solutions. Strong knowledge in thermodynamics, mass balance, heat and momentum transfer and basic knowledge in chemical reactions, experience in food industry Knowledge of sanitary standards production design related to sizing of equipment, system solutions, industry standards for process piping, equipment, installation, automation control applications, instrumentation applications, start up's /commissioning of systems. Strong communication, planning and leadership skills, able to solve problems consistently.
