Yara is the world\'s largest producer of ammonia, nitrates and NPKs, offering solutions for sustainable agriculture respecting the environment. Our fertilizers and our crop nutrition programs were designed to help the sector of food production and to meet the needs of a growing world population. Our products and solutions help industry reduce emissions, improve air quality and prioritize effective operations safely.

Yara Africa & Asia (YAA) produces, sells, distributes and markets fertilizers and industrial products across Asia Pacific and Africa regions, with offices location and operational units in 20 countries. The region employs over 1800 employees and has a long history in the Asian Pacific and African markets, focusing on develop crop nutrition concepts that increase food production and create value to the growers, in particular smallholder farmers, whilst minimizing environmental impact of agricultural activities.

YAA is currently undergoing a major transformation, aimed at shifting the existing business models, generating new revenue streams and ultimately delivering profit through new Farming Solutions related activities.

Responsibilities

• Look for opportunities to scale efficiencies and new ways of working across multiple portfolios, and environments to deliver business outcomes
• Defines and oversees an effective governance of resources and demand to meet organisational needs.
• Collaborate with our Product, Engineering, UX, Data and Business stakeholder teams to define appropriate balance of commitments and support stakeholder needs and meet business objectives
• Lead special project planning and execution for cross functional projects for the leadership team while navigating internal networks and building internal consensus
• Build standardization amongst tools, processes and relationships with leaders to understand drivers behind business performance
• Understands how to use data to drive product decision making
• Ability to manage and mitigate conflicts, dependencies while defining the critical path for multiple ongoing initiatives within a single portfolio

Profile

• Delivered multiple end-to-end capabilities/portfolio teams in a senior or similar product/business ownership position.
• Managed at least one digital globally scalable product through multiple releases using SAFe/agile/Scrum process and principles.
• Effective communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills. Humble, collaborative, team player, willing to step up and support colleagues.
• Interest in sustainability, agriculture and mobile technologies impact space.
• Experience in digital agriculture space is a plus.
• Understands how to use data to drive product decision making.
