Job Description

Our client, a registered A1 Main-contractor is currently looking for a seasoned Project Manager to lead the construction of a Luxury Residential project located in the east side of the island. Prior experience in managing construction projects at coastal and offshore areas which involves marine clay will be a great advantage to the team. This role will be responsible but not limited to:

• Planning construction project
• Creating construction schedule
• Budget monitoring and balancing
• Tracking activities in a project from beginning to end
• Working with various sub-contractors, vendors and managing supplies

Responsibilities

• Provide direction in construction planning, coordinate works with sub-contractors, client and consultant to ensure overall construction progress based on schedule of works
• Understand and ensure Site Safety requirements are met while executing works on site by Sub-contractors
• Ensure the effectiveness and implementation and successful completion of projects undertaken by the Company within schedule, cost and quality
• Verify the overall list of construction details and design based on construction plans and drawing designs before construction and on variations or defects when processing payments to subcontractors

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering (Civil) / Construction Engineering (Civil) / or equivalent.
• Preferably Project Manager specializing and experience in complex and large scale residential or commercial building.
• Familiar with our local standard quality implementation, BCA CONQUAS and Quality Mark Assessment and safety aspects in the construction industry.
• Strong team management and leadership skills.
• Problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Project management skills such as time management, project budgeting, resource management and project scheduling.
