Our client is one of the leading manufacturers for industrial generators. We are now looking for an experience Senior Quality Engineer responsible to provide management and technical support to product quality. This includes review and improves work processes and systems, participate in quality audits and work with manufacturing plants on qualities and operational matters. This role also requires leading the quality engineer to achieve quality standards and objectives.Responsibilities Implements and maintains effective quality system processes in line with ISO9001. Develops and leads quality assurance function/team and QMS quality planning process Ensures operational process operating and meeting process/ product requirement/ specification. Closely monitors the performance of key quality indicators (Quality objectives) and initiates, deploys and implements plans or measures to meet the goal set. Leads team to review, analyze daily process issues and drive respective department for process improvement. Analyzes process weakness and/or quality performance data and work with respective department on quality improvement plan. Ensures all documents (Quality management system, Control Plan, and inspection checklist) are updated regularly. Participates in quality improvement programs. Ensures that the company is readily prepared for customer audits, internal audits and/or external audits.Qualifications Diploma/ Degree in Quality/Manufacturing/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering At least 5 years' relevant experience in a similar position Meticulous and methodical. Good knowledge in Autocad, SAP, ISO auditing and statistical tools e.g. minitab, Experience working in an ISO 9001:2000 Quality System. Strong working knowledge of MS office platforms software (Excel, Words, PowerPoint). Proficient in the use of mechanical inspection equipment including calipers, micrometer, torque tester and other mechanical equipment.Others 5-day work week (8.30am to 5.15pm) Company bus is provided to & fro pick up point near Boon Lay MRT Station to office.We regret that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
