Contribute to Skyscanner\'s global Social & Community strategy and partner with members of the team to deliver against key objectives, business goals and roadmap in the APAC region.
Ownership and responsibility for delivering key components of the Social & Community strategy in APAC, identifying blockers/challenges to do so and set up regular check-ins, regional comms, etc.
Highlight the latest trends in the world of Social & Community and the travel industries and opportunities to capitalise on these trends regionally and globally aligned our strategy and brand guidelines.
Manage and grow relationships with external S&C partners (freelancers/agencies) in key APAC markets
Ensuring content plans align with key messages, strategy and opportunities per market
Liaising with Market Development team to establish focus point in key markets bringing GeoGrowth opportunities to life in line with the Social & Community strategy via our social channels, advocate programme, social listening, UGC etc and business needs.
Work with our APAC PR counterpart to collaborate on Comms opportunities and campaigns in market bring them to life through our Social & Community activities aligned to key messaging and strategy.
Represent and evangelise regional Social & Community opportunities and educate core stakeholders across the business to the importance and impact of Social & Community.
Strong awareness and monitoring of regional Social & Community metrics and progress against KPI\'s in close collaboration with the Comms analyst. Responsible for timely reporting and local market insight to inform the analysis.
Work closely with our Snr Social & Community Manager to identify key opportunities for content creators/influencers including:
Managing the roll out of Skyscanner\'s Advocate Programme across key APAC markets
Identifying new and upcoming talent that aligns with Skyscanner\'s values
Take ownership of contracts, renewing/amending etc and ensure they are in line with business needs
Responsibility for ensuring freelancer/agency invoices are correct, timely and approved.
Be a champion of our brand values and proactively identify unique ways for us to share these values with the world.
Skills/Experience:
Proven track record of contributing to the development and execution of strategies for Global Social & Community teams that drive business impact and build brand awareness at a regional level
Passion for anything Social & Community, you follow the latest trends and industry news.
Experience working with freelancers/ agencies/ third parties to deliver impact, value and efficiencies across multiple markets
Experience of working with multiple APAC markets desirable, South-Korea and Australia in particular
Experience of analytics and reporting
Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills, both internally as externally
Strong project management and prioritization skills and ability to manage multiple projects/deadlines at one time with the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities
Passion for travel and technology
Fluent spoken and written English, other languages are advantageous
