Cost-effective sourcing of professional specialized components and services for use in the microelectronics manufacturing process.
Working with suppliers to ensure effective quality control and compliance through Supplier and Contract Management.
Monitor, manage, follow up and communicate with suppliers / subcontractors to ensure that product arrives on time, in the right quantity, quality and price to support the business operations.
Compare suppliers / subcontractors proposals for price and specifications for optimal selection (cost, delivery, quality).
Sourcing, identify, and ensure efficient qualification of competitive new suppliers in collaboration with all required departments.
Negotiating the purchasing conditions with the suppliers in order to support cost competitiveness against the market conditions.
Ensure correct Master Data for automated Supply Chain Management.
Close collaboration with Quality, Operations, Logistics and Finance Departments to effectively follow up and efficiently close SCAR (Supplier Corrective Action Request) in line with EM Quality Policy & Rules.
Close collaboration with all internal stakeholders, specifically colleagues in Sourcing and Purchasing to ensure strategic alignment and support for deputation in times of absence.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with suppliers / subcontractors.
Ensure adherence to all safety, health, and environmental rules and regulations of the organization.
Provide regular reports, as defined by the management, to cover all important business updates on the supplier and market situations
Profile
Minimum 5 years experiences in Sourcing or Procurement functions in a multinational company.
Experience in electronics, electronics system, or EMS industry is desirable with exposure to manufacturing processes.
Procurement experience with Asian suppliers and / or subcontractors (China, Taiwan, Malaysia, etc.) is preferred.
Functional knowledge of supplier contracts, logistics clauses and negotiation skills are mandatory.
Superb communication, interpersonal, and professional skills are required.
Excellent customer service skills & mindset.
Able to work independently with minimum guidance.
Professional requirements
Bachelor in Business Administration, Logistics / Supply Chain, Engineering, Science, or other relevant fields.
Computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook,etc) + use of ERP system (Navision experience is an advantage).
