[What the role is]

This is a 2-year contract position as a Senior Student Development Officer in the Student Development Office.

[What you will be working on]

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Delivery and Management of Talent Development Programmes

Mentor students vying for premier post-NP scholarship.

Deliver and manage student development programmes and opportunities.

Analyse data to guide decision-making on training programmes.

Management of CCA Clubs and Student Leaders

Advise students, in accordance with NP core values, on club management such as training, briefings and operation matters.

Plan and manage the development and training of student leaders.

Establish partnerships with external organisations for sustainable volunteering opportunities for students and staff.

Project Management

Conceptualise, plan and manage events, overseas programmes and other initiatives.

Work with internal and external stakeholders.

Carry out and manage administrative processes, e.g. prepare and vet proposals, manage procurement, design communication contents.

[What we are looking for]

At least 2 years of experience working with youths, coaching or mentoring students (mentoring/ coaching, leadership development).

Experience in community engagement work and running student development programmes.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Keen passion and commitment to help students achieve their fullest potential.

Strong organisational skills, can set work priorities, track projects with meticulous detail and administrative capabilities.

Additional pre-requisites that are advantageous:

Professional certification/ demonstrated experience in workshop facilitation, and/ or knowledge of psychometric assessments.

Flexibility to work after office hours or weekends when required.

Willing to travel for overseas programmes.

Able to multi-task, adapt to changes with an agile and positive attitude.

Have a keen eye for details and aesthetics.
