Job Description


This Technical Project Manager role will focus on the Day1 and Day2 technical implementation & operations for Commercial projects. The role will be managing and leading a team of Vendors, Operations and Practice Leads, Subject Matter Experts and engineers to meet the Projects\xe2\x80\x99 KPIs & project cost. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with Customers and/or Internal Users to understand business needs and establish a technical and operation vision to support Delivery Operations.
  • Lead the Technical and Operations team to implement technical solutions (install, configure, upgrade Server, Storage, Network, Data Center, Database, Middleware, Public Cloud Infrastructure).
  • Provides technical and operation leadership to the team, either formally or informally, in support of Delivery operations. Technical resources may include contractors, consultants, or Singtel employees.
  • Develops and execute technical and operation roadmaps to modernize, enhance, and support Delivery Operations.
  • Participate in Pre-Sales solution review sessions and assist in the Solution approval process.
  • To support technical one-time build projects (Day-1 scope) & working with Product Houses on integration of new services, ensuring quality, timeliness, adherence to Project requirements, timeline and budget.
  • Communicates all technical decisions, issues and risks to Delivery Project Team and manages technical dependencies within or external to the project.
  • Exhibits ownership of technical deliverables from external resources, providing review of deliverables and actively manages an effective feedback cycle.
  • Demonstrating a solid understanding of Systems Operation management practices.
  • Adhere to security standards or best practices to avoid security breaches and reduce system vulnerability. Provide input to security audits (as required) and implement the necessary corrective/preventive actions.
  • Ensure projects meet Solution, Costs and Schedule requirements
  • Ensure projects are implemented with best practices and required quality standards.
  • Responsible for map out project implementation schedule, work breakdown schedules, communications plan, risk mitigation and quality plan for projects.
  • Responsible for managing project initiation, closure, identification of risks and manage costs
  • Responsible for providing ongoing project management including reporting to stakeholders
  • Provide Project Management scope and effort sizing to pre-sales support.
  • Monitor progress of projects and to lead and facilitate root cause analysis, if needed.
  • Manage project vendors\xe2\x80\x99 contracts, performance and deliverables
  • Manage team\xe2\x80\x99s cohesiveness and required project KPIs
Education and Qualifications Bachelor\'s degree in Computer and Information Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Management, Management Information Systems, Information Technology or related field. Work Experience
  • Minimum 8 years of IT related experience
  • Able to work under pressure and multiple projects
  • Familiar in managing projects, including project schedules, deliverables and costs
