About This Role

As our Senior Technical Project Manager, you will be taking on an important role in the centre of our cross-functional DevOps Site Reliability Engineering Team, and you will be given a unique opportunity to work on high impact projects across different teams, with responsibilities as follows:

• Facilitating the end-to-end SRE project management of Circles.Life\'s SaaS platform and ensuring they are launched in time against the target deadlines and standards for the Country-X Platform.
• Establishing trust with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, eliminating non-value-add activity and blockers, and also finding creative ways to accelerate program delivery is a must.
• Providing progress updates and reports to the various department heads, and also feeding relevant information back to the pods/units within the Country-X team.
• Capturing feedback from various teams and continuously improving the agile approach.
• Facilitating daily stand-ups, meetings, retrospectives and decision-making processes.

What We Are Looking For

• Demonstrable engineering acumen: Degree/background in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or relevant degree
• Minimum 10 years of experience as a technical project/program manager in driving and managing complex initiatives working within a fast-paced and competitive environment with proven experience in driving engineering processes to achieve delivery outcomes.
• Responsible for the timely and efficient execution of projects/programs across the value chain using Agile/SAFe methodologies - from strategy through to implementation.
• Strong knowledge and experience in Agile methodologies and frameworks like SAFe, Scrum, Kanban etc. Coaching and team-building skills to drive adoption of agile mindset.
• Knowledge of the entire SDLC and DevOps techniques (i.e. CI/CD, TDD, Continuous Testing, Automated Testing etc.).
• Integrates quickly into the organization to assess and unblock barriers that affect engineers by working with the team on mitigation strategies.
• Handles and delivers complex tech projects, within a heavily matrixed organization where s/he is able to demonstrate leadership and lead effectively to meet objectives.
• Has a successful track record of leading large cross-functional teams with the ability to manage priorities across multiple teams and functions.
• Has exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate program progress/risks/reports to all organization levels.
• Drives resource planning and execution for optimum allocation of staff, budget and assets as required by the business to meet launch objectives.
• Acts as a catalyst for alignment between groups - expose needs, interdependencies, limitations, constraints, and mitigate deployment risks with potential siloed approaches.
• Has superior communication skills, including driving and leading the functional/technical discussions with the Product and Engineering teams critical to delivery.
• Experience in developing tools/processes to improve team productivity will be beneficial.
• Knowledge of estimation techniques, continuous refinement, delivery metrics etc.
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner or a SAFe Agile certification will be an added advantage.
• Attention to detail: Does not let important details slip through the cracks.
• Follow through on commitments: Lives up to verbal and written agreements.
• Copes effectively with complexity and change, especially in a start-up environment.
