Senior/assistant Director, Leadership & People Development

Job Description




You will bring breadth and depth to the learning function and provide stewardship to the team in the areas of learning strategy, curriculum development, learning design and innovation as well as analytics. Specifically, you will: -

  • Lead in the development, implementation and review of L&D strategies and policies that are aligned with the organization\xe2\x80\x99s objectives and priorities, taking into account industry best practices and emerging learning theories/technologies.
  • Drive organization-wide learning needs analysis to forecast capabilities gaps, support employees\xe2\x80\x99 development and build future skills and capabilities, in line with sector and organization changes as well as workforce transformation efforts.
  • Lead the design, development and review of competency-based developmental roadmaps and in-house signature learning programmes/ interventions, delivering the full range of programme solutions for all levels of employees; to build the required capabilities and versatility needed to meet organisational needs and challenges ahead.
  • Manage and curate AIC\'s learning agenda, programmes and platforms by continually assessing relevance, scope, demand and impact.
  • Steer crucial conversations with business leaders and stakeholders to diagnose present and future people development needs, drive disruption and innovation and to optimise learning.
  • Establish collaborative networks and strategic partnerships with thought leaders, learning partners, business functions and leaders to drive the learning agenda for the organization.
  • Conceptualise and set up a new Learning Academy to bolster and deepen AIC\xe2\x80\x99s capabilities as the authority on community care matters, and to support the organization\xe2\x80\x99s mission and vision.
  • Manage budget, contracts and procurement while developing appropriate metrics and analytics capabilities for trends and insights.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in relevant field with minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in the areas of learning & development and change management of which at least 8 years in a managerial position.
  • Prior experience in public service and/ or public healthcare preferred.
  • Certifications in learning design, ACTA, IHRP, coaching, project/change management would be advantageous.
  • Possess a track record for translating ideas to real and meaningful capability-building and organisational outcomes.
  • Strong communication and facilitation abilities, both written and verbal, for leading, training, coaching and influencing at all levels of the organization and across diverse business functions.
