Job Description

Responsibilities

• Monitor and perform loan administration duties, such as verification of authorized signatories, repayment schedules, fee calculation, loan collection, loan restructuring etc.

• Perform loan processing duties such as new loan drawdown, loan rollover, loan prepayment and repayment to ensure transactions are processed timely and accurately.

• Liaise with internal departments on matters pertaining to loan transactions, classification and reconciliation.

• Monitor and perform daily cash management, fund transfer and remittance support, such as GIRO and G3.

• Perform fee collection, issuance loan advices, cashier\xe2\x80\x99s orders, fee advices, audit confirmations, annual loan interest statements from Customers and Relationship Managers.

• Perform account maintenance tasks such as bankruptcy and account closure etc.

• Perform the role of a Maker as well as ad-hoc Authorizer (as and when required) and ensure that all transactions are processed accurately and within stipulated timeline.

• Handle customer enquiries and feedback.

• Assist in periodic regulatory reporting as well as internal reporting to various departments and Head Office.

• Update SOP to ensure compliance with the internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  

Requirements

• A recognised Bachelor Degree in Banking & Finance or equivalent.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the banking industry.

• Well-versed in loan operations and loan administration processes.

• Familiar with related front-to-back office workflows.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Good team player.

• Knowledge in SWIFT, MEPs+ and GIRO payment process and fixed deposits would be advantageous.
