Job Description

Responsibilities



Plan and coordinate patching and remediation across Wintel and Linux servers. Create change requests and patching schedules as per maintenance windows (daily/weekly/monthly). Handle ad-hoc vulnerability remediation requests from application owners. Represent the team in troubleshooting calls for patching failures or planning. Collaborate with system administrators and application owners to deliver updates resolving vulnerabilities. Analyze vulnerabilities, ensure remediation actions, and report results to application owners, server owners, and management. Manage regular communications via email and chat, and attend weekly global meetings (US, EMEA, APAC). Generate and publish weekly and monthly patching reports. Act as first point of contact for OS-related vulnerabilities and coordinate with other teams for issue resolution. Use tools such as Remedy ITSM, ServiceNow, SDInfo, EPAS, and MyCTO for daily operations. Identify automation and process improvement opportunities while ensuring SLA compliance and service quality.

Requirements



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (BCA/BTech/BE). Minimum 6 years' experience, including 2-3 years in vulnerability management. 1-2 years' hands-on experience with tools like BladeLogic, Tanium, SCCM, WSUS, or BigFix. Strong Windows/Linux administration, reporting, and analytical skills. Proficient in Microsoft Suite; scripting knowledge a plus. Excellent communication and teamwork across global teams; flexible scheduling. Familiarity with BAC environment preferred.
