Job Description

Job Purpose:

To provide Project Management as required for key business initiatives across Tech Data. Providing the structure and discipline of a formal project management methodology as well as maintaining the Project Portfolio.

Responsibilities:

• Support and drive project delivery within the business as required. Projects will be varied and wide ranging encompassing all areas of the business.
• Apply best practice methodology and standards to provide project documentation including project plans to ensure timely execution of activities and the delivery of all projects on time and to quality.
• Project planning, tracking and reporting.
• Mobilise the project team and the business to ensure both are focused and supportive of delivering effective change.
• Provide ongoing constructive challenge to shape and influence best project outcomes.
• Promote project management by providing a consistent and professional service to the business.
• Provide coaching and support to those delivering projects across the business.
• Develop good working relationships with key individuals within the business and those external to the business as required.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

• Project management experience
• Minimum 3 to 5 years\' experience
• Education required - Minimum Diploma or Degree
• Effective inter-personal skills and the ability to work confidently at all levels within the organization and external parties
• Ability to work proactively and autonomously
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Flexible approach and a willingness to learn
• Working with cross functional teams
• Demonstrable working experience of the Project Management lifecycle
• Fully conversant with Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint to an excellent standard
