Our client is seeking for a Service Engineer that is highly motivated and would like to be part in an expanding Aftersales department. As Service Engineer, youll have a vital role on delivering high quality customer experience by servicing mainly three (3) products - Tank cleaning machines, PV valves and Tank level gauging system.Who are you?

• To fit into the role, its required to have previous experience as Service Engineer and a structured way of working having minimum supervision.
• As youll be active in an international level, good knowledge in English is required.
• We prefer you to have electrical background at the same time seek mechanical challenging task and preferably have experience in the area.
• To succeed in the role, its important that you have good planning skill, good communications skills and Result orientated mindset.

Main responsibilities:

• On-site supervision and performing troubleshooting, warranty issue, testing &
• commissioning, servicing jobs on both mechanical and electrical on products. Site can be in Overseas, at anchorage, Off-Port Limits or shipyard, on-board vessel on voyage repair or land-based industries.
• Based on the service process, plan and perform service assignments on company installations worldwide.
• Duties includes as follow:

• Do together with the service coordinator, planning service assignments.
• Performs repairs, service, installations and startups of end users, or in within company's premises if required by customer.
• Documenting causes and measures of service and, on the basis of these experiences, internal suggestions for improvement.
• Prepare service and/or calibration report of the work activities carried out and spare parts used.
• Able to advise and recommend to the Superintendent and/or vessel crew on problem and operation of the equipment in accordance with the manufacturer specification.
• Provide technical support and deliver high quality service to satisfy Scanjet customers.
• Carry out risk assessment for each service and observe safe work practice. At all times comply with regulations at work site (e.g. on-board vessels and at shipyards).
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Management from time to time.
• Providing equipment training to customers and new service technicians if needed.
• Claims and Deviation handling.
• General office duties.

Qualifications:

• Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Marine Engineering, consider as plus.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant electrical and/or mechanical engineering experience is preferred.
• Fluency in English.
