Job Summary If you are a looking to expand your career in the Service Engineering and Service Management space, Emerson has an excellent opportunity for you! We are seeking a Service Management Office (SMO) Manager who delegates and leads service policy, supervises the progress of Lifecycle Service (LCS) projects, and coordinates with country service leaders to ensure Measurement Solutions LCS objectives and goals are met. This role will handle customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Drives standard procedures and processes pertaining to service operations in Asia Pacific. Focus elements of the SMO are: Safety and Risk Management, Talent Management, Service Execution and Quality Management, Tools and Systems, and Metrics.
  • Drives services procedures following the gold standards in service execution for Field Services and Depot Repair, with full adoption of systems and tools delivered to enable users to implement such processes.
  • Represents Asia Pacific Measurement Solutions service organization in the Service Execution Solutions and Installed Base Solutions projects.
  • Lead Asia Pacific MSOL Service Operations meaningful metrics and drive performance to meet targets, including compliance to agreed business processes and system design.
  • Align Asia Pacific priorities, initiatives, and projects with the AP Lifecycle Management Council and AP Service Management Office.
Who You Are: You formulate a clear strategy and map the aggressive steps that will clearly accelerate the organization toward its strategic goals. You focus on continuous improvement; have a curiosity about identifying and seizing opportunities for alignment and integration. You make implementation plans that allocate resources accurately. You identify and supervise key financial indicators to gauge performance, identify trends, and suggest strategies that can impact results. For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience from a similar industry or in field service engineering function
  • A great teammate with strong people and partners\xe2\x80\x99 management experience.
  • Experience in prioritizing multiple projects and leading service operations.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
  • Degree or any equivalent in Engineering or any related field
  • Experience in process mapping is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in English for effective verbal communication and good writing skills.
  • Knowledge in Windows and PC applications preferred.
  • Willing to travel within Asia Pacific
