This is what makes Konecranes a unique place to work.As a Service Planner, you will handle all aspects of planned service activities and generating service requests, reviewing job costs and managing field hours and reviewing the service jobs before sending them to invoice. Accuracy is an important detail in this role, as you will supervise technicians and facilitate the delivery of services. You will report to the Admin & Planning Manager. We recognise that people come from diverse backgrounds and skills and welcome all to apply!In this role your main responsibilities include:

  • Handle planned activities, e.g., planned repairs, retrofits, modernisation, and on-call activities
  • Manage any purchasing needed for job execution. Verify that purchase requests are submitted without errors.
  • Arrange sub-contracted services and equipment, including rentals
  • Goods receiving for purchase requests
  • Create service requests (SR) and work packages (WP) and assign them to field operatives
  • Schedule and dispatch field operatives
  • Manage all open jobs and their scheduling daily
  • Review completed job costs including work hours, expenses, and materials before sending to invoice daily
Additionally:
  • Respond and cater for any customer needs and requests, and escalate/delegate them
  • Collect warranty information, monitor, and report any potential warranty or credit requests to the Managers before authorising work
  • Manage miscellaneous activities, such as shipping/receiving, shop cleanliness, walk-ins for parts, equipment/building maintenance, answering phones
Job Requirement:
  • Minimum Diploma in Business Administration or related
  • At least 2 years (s) of working experience in related field
  • Prior management experience and technical (electrical/mechanical) experience.
  • Customer-oriented and PC skills.
  • Willing to take on new and challenging tasks.
  • Willingness to work overtime or additional hours.
