1 Inventory Management * Maintain common consumables inventory and supply of gases across the different laboratories. * Assist to update and maintain Chemical and Cell Line Bank inventories. 2 1 Inventory Management Maintain common consumables inventory and supply of gases across the different laboratories. Assist to update and maintain Chemical and Cell Line Bank inventories. 2 Procurement Assist to raise purchase request pertaining to scientific equipment and lab consumables. 3 Asset Life Cycle Management Work with various stakeholders (external and internal) to refresh scientific equipment. Assist to maintain and support repair of scientific equipment including gas detector system. Keep a tab on all scientific equipment repair and maintenance activities and update the tracking system accordingly. Work with various stakeholders (external and internal) on disposal of scientific equipment that are end of life and are unable to support efficiently or are beyond repair. 4 Safety Participate in Safety Committee Meeting. Have basic knowledge on safety regulation requirement and licensing required for an operational R&D laboratory. Understand the emergency response required for gas leak, fire and chemical/biological spill. Respond to SMS sent by Facility and be physically present should there be any disruption to lab operations after office hours. 5 Other Adhoc Duties To undertake other assignment related to Operations when necessary. Requirements: B.Sc in Life Science or Chemistry with some background working in a BSL2 or Chemistry Lab Willing to hands-on and learn new knowledge and skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Able to work independently as well as in a team Strive to constantly seek improvement of existing systems and work processes Keen to embark on a career in lab management The above eligibility criteria are not exhaustive.
