Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ship Agency Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive agency services for a range of vessels, including cruise ships and superyachts. Previous experience in the cruise and superyacht sectors is an advantage. Key Responsibilities: 1. Provide excellent customer service to clients and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, including port authorities, customs officials, and suppliers 2. Manage all aspects of vessel operations, including port clearance, pilotage, towage, and cargo operations 3. Prepare and submit accurate documentation, including port clearance, customs declarations, and cargo manifests 4. Liaise with vessel crews to ensure compliance with local regulations and procedures 5. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and supplies 6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local regulations, port procedures, and industry standards 7. Provide timely and accurate cost estimates to clients 8. Monitor vessel movements and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders 9. Attend vessel arrivals and departures as required, including outside normal working hours 10. Participate in the development and implementation of agency policies and procedures Qualifications and Requirements: 1. At least 2 years of experience in ship agency operations, preferably with experience in the cruise and superyacht sectors 2. Good knowledge of local port procedures and regulations 3. Excellent communication and customer service skills 4. Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously 5. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software 6. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team 7. Flexibility to work outside normal working hours as required 8.
