Job responsibilities:
Coordination of all inbound/outbound shipment
Provide customer support by giving them advice on their shipment, various country customary rules and regulations; provide after-sale support and following up with client till the whole transaction is done.
Book the consignment (freight / transporters / forwarders) in accordance with costs and price strategy of the company
Organize the booking and operations in accordance with the client\'s service sold
Send all necessary information and documentation to clients / agents / sea companies / forwarders etc\xe2\x80\xa6on time
Liaise and maintain good relations with agents and shipping companies.
For Sea Import / Air freight files, once operation complete (delivery document for Sea and Air import, Airway bill for Air export), must be transmitted immediately to the Branch Manager in order to prepare invoicing instructions to the Accountant Manager.
For sea Export files, once the Bill of Lading has been received, the original sets of client documentation will be mailed to the destination agent and the same time apply for the export permit for the shipping lines.
To prepare the pre-alert ticking the service instructions
To transfer the Pre-Alert project to the Customer Service Manager for checking instructions stated before being approved by the Branch Manager.
To send the approved Pre-Alert to the agent / Branch at destination
To inform immediately the Branch Manager about any changes in regulation procedures for export or import and to estimate what impact it will have on the organisation and costs without any delay.
Follow up the container\'s status on a daily base.
Provide feedback on moves to ensure smooth operations.
Collect the agent\'s general tracker.
Collect and forward required clearing and shipping documentation timely.
Complete the job files timely and keep the job files sorted
