Job Description

Job Title: Shipping Executive Responsibilities:

• Coordinating and managing the shipment of goods to and from various locations
• Ensuring that all shipping operations comply with applicable laws and regulations
• Negotiating contracts with carriers, freight forwarders, and other shipping service providers
• Must be a highly organised individual with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to network and develop relationship with shipping lines
• Tracking shipments and monitoring delivery schedules to ensure on-time delivery
• Communicating with customers and other stakeholders to provide updates on shipment status and address any concerns or issues that arise
• Managing and resolving any shipping-related issues or concerns that arise
• Strong working knowledge of cross border logistics including import/export and customs clearance
• Collaborating with other departments, such as sales and customer service, to ensure that shipping services meet the needs of the business and its customers
• Managing shipping budgets and ensuring that shipping costs are kept within budgetary constraints
• Able to handle high volume of work in a fast-paced environment
• Identifying opportunities to optimize shipping efficiency and reduce costs

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years working experience in sea freight / logistic department / freight forwarding
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with carriers, customers, and other stakeholders
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with shipping management software and other relevant technology
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping, such as those related to safety, security, and hazardous materials
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Perform other duties in supply chain as and when may assigned by the management team

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $2,000.00 - $3,000.00 per month Benefits:
