Prepare food for service based on agreed product quality
Supervise to ensure consistency of food execution and food quality control before service / dispatch
Ensure good practices for food storage in accordance with food safety standards
Oversee preparation of deli items and prepare a la minute orders
Manage, maintain and execute expense control, food cost, wastage and quality control based on agreed targets
Manage, apply and ensure workplace safety and food hygiene & safety policies and procedures meet audit requirements
Perform production site and equipment maintenance
Review processes to improve food & process quality, productivity and operation
Lead in R&D / food tasting to come up with menu ideas
Liaise with vendors for food ordering including negotiating on food price/costs, sourcing replacement/substitutes
Requirements:
At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
Professional Certs/Diploma/Degree in Culinary related discipline would be advantageous
Knowledge in various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
