s (Roles and Supporting Responsibilities)
Help in the preparation and design of food menus
Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise
Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
Fill in for the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation when necessary
Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff\xe2\x80\x99s performance
Order supplies to stock inventory appropriately
Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
Ensure that the team is always well turned out and provide adequate training to ensure that they offer professional and courteous service to all internal and external guests
Be able to recognise our regular patrons and their needs and preferences
Job Requirement
2-3 years of working experience in a similar role
Understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
Familiar with industry\xe2\x80\x99s best practices
Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, restaurant management software, POS)
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Well-organised and clean
Keen for opportunities to learn and grow within the organisation
Able to commit to shift work
Location \xe2\x80\x93 Walking distance from Outram Park or Maxwell MRT Station
