Summary
Our client is a prestigious and elegant establishment and is looking for a Sous Chef for the Singapore location
Requirements
\xc2\xb7 In-depth knowledge of Indian cuisine, covering all major food regions in Northern and Southern India
\xc2\xb7 Assist the Head Chef in training and development of the kitchen team, to motivate and grow their knowledge and interest in Indian cuisine
\xc2\xb7 Work closely with Head Chef in all food preparation for hot, cold and dessert stations
\xc2\xb7 Assist the Head Chef to develop new menus
\xc2\xb7 Understand and be up to date in product offerings within the Indian food supply chain
\xc2\xb7 Quality control of food
\xc2\xb7 Consistency of food on a daily basis every service
\xc2\xb7 Understand Par levels and Cost Control of the entire kitchen
\xc2\xb7 Compliance with Food Hygiene and Safety standards
\xc2\xb7 Deliver on the brand promise
\xc2\xb7 Background in Fine Dining kitchen preferred
\xc2\xb7 Team player with positive professional attitude
\xc2\xb7 Able to learn and adapt to different business levels and needs
\xc2\xb7 Committed to delivering a high level of customer service
Skills
\xc2\xb7 Experience as Sous Chef and above (min. 4 years)
\xc2\xb7 Strong Leadership Skills
