Reports to Regional Strategy Lead Based in Singapore Position Summary: * The Mid-level Strategic Planner is a critical role as a business/category expert and owner of strategic work for certain Reports to Regional Strategy Lead Based in Singapore Position Summary: The Mid-level Strategic Planner is a critical role as a business/category expert and owner of strategic work for certain parts of the APAC region. Reporting to the Regional Strategy Lead, this role partners with Creative and Account team to inspire break-through creative work and communication strategies. A dynamic team member who has core competency in one or more strategic disciplines including brand strategy, cultural trends analysis, business strategy, omni-channel planning/media, and data analytics. Builds strategic confidence with the clients and is able to elevate our work to be best-in-class Key responsibilities include: Master of Research Understanding both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, can distill research into actionable insights and the ability to derive empathy stories from the research to inform insights / storytelling Champions the insights in one or more APAC regions and cultures. Corresponding language skills to serve research purposes is a plus. Turning data into stories that inspire Understanding how to dig into data to identify a specific business and consumer problem to solve Turns data into relevant business implications and as a source of inspiration that is logical and easy-to-digest Influential Storyteller Capability for turning data / facts into a human narrative, must demonstrate with work samples Master storyteller - uncovering the insight / consumer truth that sparks creative thinking Master of Keynote Creative Partner, guiding strategic direction Leveraging different approaches depending on need Is flexible to work and evolve strategic thinking with the input from creative teams Competency in determining most influential points of decision Leveraging research /data to design the shopper experience, has knowledge of innovative new media properties and solutions Has competency in creating / interpreting detailed consumer journeys, ideally with knowledge in UX design and communication strategy planning Qualifications BA preferably in Marketing, Advertising, Literature and Social Sciences 3-4 years of Strategic Planning experience within the disciplines of shopper and / or brand strategy within an agency setting Ideally has some global brand, shopper and / or activation experience Competitive presentation skills - confidence and establishes credibility, well-spoken and articulate Presentation development, leveraging experience in Keynote and graphic presentation design Ability to support or own the strategic story and the creative brief Experience in preparation for briefing sessions Home Care category experience is a plus Channel / Retailer specific expertise and intelligence is a plus
