Supply Chain Assistant Analyst (inventory & 3pl)

Job Description


This role supports the day to day activities related with 3PL management: inventory, inventory reconciliation, freight coordination; responsible for coordinating the bookings for the Sales orders dispatch, supports with reports to the rest of the supply chain team. This role is also heavily involved with BCP (business continuity planning) management and follow-up on all delivery related process for assigned markets. The person is responsible to create timely delivery note for all shipments and ensure on time PGI (Post Good Issue) for all created deliveries. Closely monitoring and management of weekly backorder reporting and potential failure for meeting agreed SLA (Shelf-Life Agreement) with respective markets. Prepare and send all relevant ship documentation to ensure smooth customs clearance at destination country. To support any logistics-related requirements to meet with destination country clearance requirements. RESPONSIBILITIES : 1) Primary Execute Activities including:

  • Transportation
  • Manage bookings for PI sales order dispatch
  • Delivery Note creation and booking for Gatorade market in the USA & Canada
  • Executing and ensuring that the \xe2\x80\x9cZERO Freight report\xe2\x80\x9d is done on a timely manner
  • Create delivery schedule for inbound and outbound
  • Review the S&D pending invoices
  • BCP related shipment arrangement & shipping documents for customer
  • Update freight rates per RFQ timeline and upon changes
  • Prepare and issue MOH POs to 3PL and internal suppliers to meet requirements
  • Manage daily operational interactions with 3PL
  • Inventory reconciliation
  • OT management for transportation and Operations
  • Pallet projection and storage management
  • Spending monitoring and invoice posting for payment release
  • Implement and maintain supply chain metrics dashboard
  • Process optimization
  • Ensure weekly cycle count & yearly stock take activity in line with PGCS business requirement
  • Inventory report generation and coordination with stakeholders
2) Primary Co-ordinate activities including:
  • Ensure timely adherence to weekly supply chain planning cycle
  • Ensure completion of process documentation and adherence to controls management
  • Participate in development and implementation of new area processes and improvements.
  • Adherence to all PepsiCo Health & Safety requirements is a requirement of this role
  • Meet all internal & external compliance responsibilities including Purchasing Policy requirements, GCS, SOX & AIBI
Other Ad-hoc jobs may be required. PRE-REQUISITES: 1) Education or Professional Certifications
  • College degree with in a relevant Supply Chain discipline
2) Experience
  • 5+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in S&D environment
3) Knowledge and job skills
  • SAP MM and PP modules
  • Report generation in SAP BI/BO
  • Strong Excel capabilities.
4) Soft skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Self-managing individual with confidence to escalate to manager for support as required
  • Experience in multi-tasking/managing priorities, diverse activities and multiple projects
  • Communication - initiating and ensuring effective written and verbal communication in a virtual, multicultural environment
5) Other characteristics or attributes
  • Capable of working effectively in a cross functional environment
