We are looking for an intern to join us from December 2022/January 2023 onwards, for a 6 months commitment. Please indicate your availability, i.e duration and full-time/part-time in your application. Students who can commit full-time will be preferred.

The successful candidates will join the Hub Asia Transport team in SE, that is responsible for shipping via air and ocean to over 50 countries.

What will you do?

• 
  Changing of both air and ocean suppliers; assisting in the implementation (i.e. reviewing transport mapping for each freight lane and SOP development)
• 
  Implementation of a Freight Management System and Freight Audit Payment for Singapore; includes a freight booking system with forwarders and trucking company, document repository system, pre-alert system and end-to-end visibility system
  (the Freight Audit payment system is a match pay system where each outbound shipment freight costs is matched against a rate table for verification)
• 
  CO2 – implementation of several CO2 projects for Hub Asia
• 
  RPA projects to drive improvements in HA processes
• 
  Improving last mile delivery processes
• 
  Transport lead time improvements for HA

What qualifications will make you successful?

• Bachelor’s in Operations/Supply Chain Management, Business, or related Industrial Engineering courses
  
• Knowledgeable in manufacturing activities, supply chain and/or distribution and logistics are an added advantage
• Proficiency in using Tableau, Power BI is also an added advantage
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
• Strong Problem Solving and Analytical skillsets
