The Role

The Supply Chain Team Lead oversees global projects and supply chain management, including managing the API portfolio and building relationships with stakeholders. They lead the internal and external supply, API, and bulk planning organization, manage global projects and initiatives, and work independently under pressure. The role requires excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to coach others using relevant experience.

Main Responsibilities

• Ensure the integration and robustness of global supply chain planning, master data, and analytics processes.

• Design and implement supply planning processes that leverage SAP architecture.

• Handle escalated issues in supply chain agreements and master service agreements.

• Collaborate with stakeholders (e.g. operational teams, contract manufacturers, and Brand/API Supply Leaders) to create and update schedules based on demand forecasts and other requirements.

• Co-develop and support global initiatives, supply planning processes, and the operations team.

• Manage the inventory of consigned materials, including planning stock levels, reconciling consigned materials, and ensuring compliance.

• Lead the API and Bulk network, responsible for developing global demand models, managing allocation for short supply products, and establishing supply chain parameters.

• Work with third-party contractors and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement projects and support network supply initiatives.

• Manage a team of direct reports.

• Provide hands-on support to improve the supply chain planning capabilities for contract manufacturing organizations and internal sites, ensuring planning through globally aligned processes and solutions.

Requirements

• Relevant Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (e.g. Operations Management, Engineering and/or Supply Chain).
• Project management experience required. Certification is a bonus (e.g. CPIM, CSCP, PMP).
• At least 10 years of related experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Demonstrated analytical skills, including technical proficiency in Business/IT platforms, e.g. BI/Tableau/SAP/BOBJ.
