Roles & Responsibilities Sustainability and Content Strategy
Job Responsibilities:

Drive online and offline marketing initiatives for GoodFoodPeople (our Vegan E-grocer platform)

  • Implementing, executing, and overseeing the content strategy
  • Lead ideation and development of content in partnership with marketing team
  • Manage end-to-end digital initiatives across all digital channels
  • Design and conduct content audits
  • Identify the appropriate paid/owned channels for content and integrate with the current media channel ecosystems, including social, digital, experience, CRM, and traditional.
  • Own content planning (paid + organic) and execution
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Lead sustainability proposals with attention to factors such as cost effectiveness, feasibility, and ease of integration with other programs.
  • Evaluates efficacy of sustainability programs; recommends and implements improvements as necessary.
Lead and own the overall marketing strategy and branding to drive business goals
  • Build a strong brand that resonates with key USPs
  • Creating concepts that generate awareness, grow affinity with users, and drive quantifiable business impact
  • Set up and integrate new marketing systems and tools
  • Identify trends and insights that can be used and develop content strategies to drive awareness and advocacy
Formulate marketing & communications calendar
  • Build a pipeline of campaigns and supporting content
  • Align with cross-functional team in ensuring timely execution
  • Work with internal and external stakeholders in managing and activating campaigns
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams. Will be expected to ensure the eventual alignment of audience insights, brand narratives, and creative assets
Grow ecosystem through collaborations
  • Partner with other teams to develop integrated go-to-market plans
  • Work tactically with influencers in growing reach and building awareness
  • Work with key partners and suppliers in developing strategic partnerships in growing the business
  • Scope potential products and partners to grow the ecosystem

Sustainability
  • Oversees the overall execution, mission, and efficacy of the sustainability program across SaladStop Group
  • Proposes and implements strategies to address various environmental concerns including energy use, conservation, reduction of pollution, recycling, building and facility design, and general education on sustainability.
  • Prepares documentation required for project funding for various environmental initiatives including proposals and grant applications.
  • Maintains current working knowledge of, and ensures compliance with authorities and regulations.
  • B – corp certification – assist with B-corp certification documentations, and work with internal teams to achieve certification
  • Net zero outlet – To assist new outlet scheduled to open, achieve net zero, which includes (but not limited to) sourcing for sustainable building materials, fair trade suppliers, healthy sustainable recipes, etc
  • Yearly sustainability report – To document and compile yearly sustainability report, to be published on websites and shared with other stakeholders
  • Collaboration with sustainability partners – to actively seek, network and maintain partnership with sustainability partners

Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Superlative and creative problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Thorough and current knowledge of sustainability practices, laws and regulations.
  • Ability to analyse and understand research and to create valuable content
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Presentation skills required to deliver proposals to varying groups of individuals.
  • Bachelors degree in related field required; Masters degree highly preferred.
  • Minimum five years of corporate, business and management experience required.
