1) to build a stand-alone LPAR, customize the z/OS network, VTAM, and TCP/IP connections and all other setup for a complete test environment.

2) to install and customize RACF

3) to create and maintain the test system to be used throughout the conversion, and clone of LPARs for UAT and PROD environment. Also, installs and customizes vendor, 3rd party programs which use security interfaces including requirements for a phased-in single LPAR RACF implementation in production environment and backout procedures. • Maintain GSD Tracking metrics
• Perform disaster recovery technology currency planning
• Respond to OS, IBM, or ISV product request
• Participate in RFS, ROM, or steady State project responses
• Participate in knowledge transfer projects
• Install products into GSD platform repository
• Maintain products in the GSD platform repository
• Distribute software packages to target systems
• Perform system upgrade consulting to GSD platform consumers
