Position Overview
Reporting to the Regional Head of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Manager will be responsible for driving a team in recruitment best practices, processes and delivery across Sri Lanka which includes performance metrics, reporting, coaching, mentoring and guiding Talent Acquisition members. The TA Manager will partner with Senior Leaders on establishing hiring priorities and pipeline to ensure delivery of high-profile talent in the shortest time frame. The role will also be responsible for participating in globally aligned initiatives including technology, marketing campaigns, transformation projects etc.
Essential Responsibilities


  • Strategic partner to our key business leaders in Manila

  • Ensuring standardized recruiting processes and procedures

  • Building/ managing a team of Talent Acquisition specialists with an emphasis on guiding, coaching and mentoring individuals

  • Ensuring global performance metrics are achieved by holding the team accountable for their targets and timelines

  • Supporting the team in developing/ implement innovative and creative solutions to sourcing and candidate management – including developing direct sourcing channels; including market mapping, employee referrals, and employment branding

  • Implement an internet and social media strategy campaign, evaluate funding sources and make proposals to ensure Refinitiv is appropriately positioned in the relevant region

  • Ensure regular reporting of relevant recruiting metrics to assess effectiveness of recruiting programs and talent hired

  • Holding the team of TA Partners accountable for ensuring a high quality and consistent approach to job descriptions and job adverts, including providing training and guidance to hiring managers

  • Partner with all divisions of LSEG to leverage relationships across the company

  • Being the LSEG Employee of Choice champion – developing and managing our employment branding and marketing and ensuring consistency across Manila

  • Providing strategic market intelligence on hiring trends, competitor activity and salaries

Experience and Qualifications Required

  • Extensive experience as a talent acquisition expert

  • Min 5 years of People Leadership experience

  • Ability to coach, mentor and guide team members in a productive and collaborative manner

  • Passion for people development and ensuring the success of your team members

  • Attention to detail, ability to listen, highly responsive and proactive

  • Proven track record of delivering results and process improvement

  • In depth understanding of hiring in Sri Lanka

  • Ability to build strong partnerships with internal and external networks, based on mutual trust, courageous and insightful advice, and consistent delivery

  • Strong business acumen with a commercial/pragmatic approach

  • Effective oral and written communication skills when dealing with management and employees at various organization levels, including senior management

  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills

  • Ability to collaborate and work across a large, diverse, and matrixed organization

  • Ability to deal with ambiguous and fluid situations

  • Strong relationship and communication skills

  • Innovative and creative thinking

  • Ability to build strong credibility with business leaders across the company
