Role purpose The Talent Acquisition Partner is a critical role within the in house Talent Acquisition function, and will lead the recruitment service for Singapore, with a focus on providing an efficient, effective and high-touch recruitment experience. This includes;

  • Ownership and delivery of the end to end Talent Acquisition Strategy focused on providing high levels of service and quality to stakeholders & Hiring Managers
  • Work closely with hiring managers and leaders to understand requirements and deliver results that meet or exceed agreed SLAs and KPIs. Provide meaningful talent insights to key stakeholders including hiring managers, functional leaders and local HR teams
  • Support regional Leadership hiring based in Singapore.
  • Lead Employer Branding , D&I and TA process improvement initiative
Accountabilities
  • Ensure we are delivering a high quality, and efficient recruitment process to the stakeholders
  • Partner with local HR, hiring managers, leaders to build a recruitment plan that is in line with business expectations, and aligned to the overall Business strategy.
  • Support Succession planning strategy for critical role in the country by developing a strong external pipeline of Talents.
  • Independently manage Leadership hiring
  • Hands-on delivery of end to end recruitment process e.g. requisition management, sourcing, candidate management, offer management.
  • Provide market intelligence and recruiting insights to key stakeholders at various stages of the recruitment process.
  • Ensure all external recruitment content is well written and in line with corporate Syngenta branding, utilizing the company’s employee value propositions and any key functional messages which can increase candidate attraction
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract passive candidates using online databases, social & professional networks (e.g. LinkedIn), and other innovative sourcing methods
  • Work proactively with hiring managers and HR teams to understand the future talent needs of the business, and ensure appropriate talent pipelining strategies are in place
  • Always seek and act upon opportunities for continuous process improvement that will ultimately enhance stakeholder experience and/or increase efficiency
  • Ensures candidate offer and on-boarding process is managed seamlessly across all levels
  • Regularly contribute to recruitment / HR projects across country or region, where appropriate
Knowledge, Experience & Capabilities Critical knowledge
  • 5+ years’ experience in talent acquisition , ideally gained within a global, matrixed, organization
  • Demonstrable track record of recruiting in complex, narrow candidate markets across multiple geographies
  • Experienced in interviewing and assessment methods or tools
  • Experience of engaging with senior stakeholders to influence positive outcomes
  • Sound project management experience
  • Experience in leadership hiring would be an advantage.
Critical Skills & Experience:
  • Deep knowledge of recruiting best practices and well versed in a diverse range of sourcing methods
  • Good knowledge of Applicant tracking systems & CRM tool
  • Strong vendor management skills
  • Knowledge of the agriculture market desirable but not essential
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications eg Excel, PowerPoint etc.

  • Ability to influence a broad range of Senior stakeholders
  • Ability to analyse data and trends and translate to meaningful insights and actions
  • Ability to think through complex problems and determine solutions
  • Ability to create action plans with solutions to deliver on complex talent needs
  • Confident communicator both verbally and in writing with a strong command of English
