This team will play a pivotal role in supporting VMware to become Consumption Obsessed by transforming VMware's License Compliance Services into Consumption Advisory Services.
Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing? You'll be required to:

• Understand the complexities of VMware License Entitlements, Contract Terms & Conditions and associated internal processes.
• Support ideation to solve questions like How to improve the customer experience for License & SaaS Usage Management,
• Building data collection Powershell scripts for on-premise License Usage or gathering internal data for SaaS/Cloud Services
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product Managers and Data Science Teams
• Build an internal & external network to keep up to date with industry practices and use this channel to generate ideas to keep strategy fresh and relevant

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis? Create a scalable operational process to simplify Entitlements, License & SaaS Data Collect and Reconciliation in collaboration with internal teams Skills required to be successful:

• Demonstrated problem-solving, strong interpersonal and strong communication skills.
• Engaging with customers & partners with License & Consumption assessments from a technical perspective
• Cross-Functional Collaborating with License Management and Consumption Advisors to bring use cases for improvements to our service offerings
• Improving the data collection process by improving current Powershell scripts and identifying other projects that are seeking to improve License Management
• Assist with documentation of processes, sharing of information on MS Teams, Slack Group, Confluence and Sharepoint
• End User Audit experience and/or good knowledge of internal compliance processes & tools is preferred

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like? VMware has a matrix organisational structure and within this role, there is a lot of cross-functional collaboration needed to achieve our goals. You'll report to the Singapore APJ Leadership team however we serve internal customers (GTM Teams) that cover the APJ region. The culture of the team is solving problems with creative & thoughtful ideas. We collaborate with a broad range of internal business units and consultancy firms and we act as One VMware.
Where is this role located?
Flexible: The role is considered flexible and will be a mix of working from a local VMware office and remote depending on your preferences and the arrangements determined with your future manager. You will be expected to live within a reasonable non-daily commute of the office.
