About the job Technical Sales Engineer, Oil/Gas/Marine
Job Scope
Provides responsive, comprehensive post-sales technical support for measurement, application and product information for semicon products.
Understands customer’s problems and efficiently resolves the technical inquiry.
Schedules other resources to resolve problems if necessary.
Provide remote start up assistance for customers.
Provide product demonstrations/testing to customer.
Deliver technical expertise via remote channel for solution implementation to the customer based on test and measurement products and services.
Refer sales opportunities to the appropriate sales resource.
Contributes technical FAQ content for the website and proactively works with the product divisions to improve the overall collection of intrinsic documentation.
Provide support to customer.
Work hand in hand with marketing, sales, product development departments
Requirements
Min Diploma in Mechanical/ Chemical/ Electrical / Instrumentation / Automation Engineer)
Relevant experience in Marine / Oil & Gas for application role
Experiences in dealing with Marine / Oil & Gas industry is preferred.
Strong communication skills
