Ensuring the safe and economical operation of assigned ships.
Being thoroughly familiar with the Company\'s Management System.
Effectively implementing the Company\'s Management System.
Contributing to the creation of new procedures or the modification of existing ones.
Promoting and supporting continuous improvement efforts.
Monitoring compliance with the Company\'s Management System in relation to shipboard and departmental activities.
Overseeing the performance, technical, and operational conditions of assigned ships.
Ensuring prudent financial management.
Coordinating repairs and dry dockings.
Ensuring ships are fully certified in accordance with international standards and requirements.
Ensuring ships are properly manned.
Preparing technical reports for owners in line with the management agreement.
Fostering and developing a strong safety culture and environmental & energy awareness on board assigned ships.
Providing support to shipboard management regarding technical and operational matters.
Qualifications:
Chief Engineer\'s license with a minimum of two (2) years\' sea service as a Chief Engineer on Bulk Carriers, or experience as a Technical Superintendent with another shipping company for at least two years.
Strong leadership, control, and communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a team.
Comprehensive knowledge of the marine industry and applicable rules and regulations.
Strong technical knowledge of the vessels assigned.
