Job Description




Provide technical leadership to the Field Service Delivery team in new testcell solutions introduction and stabalisation, manage and lead technical escalations, being the bridge between the BU and the Customer team in terms of testcell knowledge/solution transfer and feedback, responsible for knowledge retention.

  • Leads new testcell solution introduction and stabalisation of the Field Service Delivery team
  • Leads technical escalation support for Advantest\'s ATE testcell equipments/components for critical technical escalations mostly from our South East Asian customers.
  • Collaborates closely with our Global Escalation team as well as R&D to quickly provide sustainable solution to urgent customer escalations.
  • Provides coaching and training to Field Service Engineers on new products support and testcell solutions.
  • Provides technical inputs to R&D for improvement for existing products as well as proposal for new design.
  • Provides consultancy services to the local internal regional technical experts in South East Asia team.
  • Work with Field Service team in their preparation of escalation reports and feedback on technical issues with regards to equipment performance/testcell components to our customers.
  • May deliver technical presentations at external seminars as part of advance product support
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Mechatronics/ Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • Possess strong leadership and good customer management skills.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate well with different levels of management internally and at our customers.
  • Self-driven and motivated, able to works independently and under pressure.
  • Proven systematic problem-solving skills with critical thinking to identify the root cause
  • Minimum 5~6 years of Semiconductor Test equipment exposure, good knowledge on ATE test cell components, tester, handler, loadboard, socket, able to diagnose and narrow down to individual test cell component when problem exists in the testcell interface.
  • Willing to travel SEA region when support is required.
